Who Is Jesus

Jesus Christ! When you hear His name, many things may come to your mind. Perhaps you think of a great prophet, a great teacher, or a man who was a good example of how to live. Maybe you have no reaction at all when you hear His name. We believe that Jesus was more than a good man who lived a good life. We believe He was more than a good teacher or a prophet. We believe that Jesus Christ is indeed the Son of God who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and arose three days later. We believe that in being crucified on a cross, Jesus took the wrath of God that you and I deserve. We believe that without Christ we are separated from God and will spend eternity apart from Him. We also believe that if a person confesses and turns from their sin, asking Christ to forgive them and to be in control of their life, then they become adopted by God. That person is no longer condemned, but is now a child of God. We believe that there is no greater relationship than one with Christ.
